JOB SUMMARY


As a Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in defining data dependencies to generate analytical information necessary for strategic decision-making in optimizing the rental property portfolio. You will be responsible for creating and implementing models to present simulations, analyses, and other reports related to real estate information and occupancy data, ensuring data integrity throughout. This role will utilize your data management skills and curiosity, contributing to the management of BDC's corporate and national real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define data dependencies to produce essential analytical information for decision-making.
  • Create and implement models for simulations, analyses, and various reports related to real estate and occupancy data.
  • Ensure data integrity in all processes and outputs.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize the rental property portfolio.

Education: Bachelors and above


Qualifications:

  • Well-organized with multitasking and prioritizing skills to manage multiple sites with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent data management skills, especially with Microsoft Excel, 5-7 years of related real estate training and experience in drafting and negotiating commercial real estate documents.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial leases and lease terms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to escalate issues promptly.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


To Succeed in This Role: ​


You have a strong interest in analyzing data from multiple sources and possess foundational skills in SQL and/or programming. You have experience in database management and design, PowerBI, dynamic table skills, and querying. You have an affinity for the corporate real estate sector. Job Responsibilities:

  • Define internal data requirements to align with the strategic goals of the Real Estate and Facilities Management team, ensuring data maintenance and integrity.
  • Actively contribute to the annual strategic review of the real estate portfolio, providing essential information for the corporate plan.
  • Develop real estate forecasting models by analyzing occupancy data from sensors, access data, and a seat reservation system to enhance decision-making and optimize space usage in our business centers.
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by working closely with the Finance department and maintaining an up-to-date database of real estate contracts.
  • Structure real estate data and serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, guiding and supervising the team managing real estate planning, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Prepare forecasts, simulations, and financial analyses to support decision-making related to various real estate projects.
  • Collaborate with our real estate services provider to ensure data integrity by comparing data across platforms and performing quality controls.
  • Stay informed about internal changes and developments to align and evolve data management practices accordingly.
  • Prioritize development initiatives, follow up on requests, ensure appropriate governance, and maintain an updated list of ongoing activities.
