  • Reports To: Senior Real Estate Transaction Manager


Our Asset Management Department is seeking a Real Estate Transaction Manager for our Oakville office. Reporting to the Senior Real Estate Transaction Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate with various departments including Asset Management, Legal, Franchising and Construction. You will be accountable for development projects.

You possess strong interpersonal and planning skills, are an effective communicator, and can thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.


Education: Bachelors and above.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and negotiating Letters of Intent/Offers to Lease with Area Real Estate Managers.
  • Assist in drafting and negotiating Agreements of Purchase and Sale, managing deal conditions with legal teams.
  • Draft various real estate agreements, including lease amending agreements.
  • Coordinate project information and approvals with the Construction Department and consultants.
  • Align goals with departmental, national, and corporate strategies. Participate in Regional/National Development meetings and regular team meetings.


Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of related real estate training and experience in drafting and negotiating commercial real estate documents.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial leases and lease terms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organized with multitasking and prioritizing skills to manage multiple sites with tight deadlines.
  • Technologically savvy with excellent computer skills.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to escalate issues promptly.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong guest focus with the ability to provide accurate and timely responses.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a team player mentality.
